Class Descriptions

Beginner Tumbling
This class is designed for athletes with little to no tumbling experience. Skills taught include: forward roll, backward roll, handstand, cartwheel, roundoff, bridge, bridge kickover, and back walkover.

Intermediate I Tumbling
Prerequisite: Mastery of all Beginner Tumbling skills.
Athletes will learn: back handspring, roundoff back handspring, and cartwheel back handspring.

Intermediate II Tumbling
Prerequisite: Mastery of all Intermediate I skills.
Athletes will learn: roundoff back handspring series and both standing and running tucks.

Advanced Tumbling
Prerequisite: Mastery of all previous class skills.
Athletes will learn: jump to tuck, standing back handspring to layout, standing two back handsprings to layout, roundoff back handspring layout, and standing back handspring–layout.

Tiny Tots Class (Ages 3–6)
Designed for young athletes with little to no tumbling experience. Skills taught include: forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, handstand, bridge, and bridge kickover.

Fundamentals of Cheer
This class focuses on all areas of cheer—motions, jumps, and sign work—while building the flexibility needed to be a well-rounded athlete. Athletes will stretch using various techniques and work to improve jumps through stretching, performance practice, conditioning, and proper form and technique.
